The lV International Piano Competition “Ciudad de Vigo” was held in this edition from October 15 to 19, 2020, in online format (due to the pandemic). It had a great international impact, with almost 300 participants from 47 countries pre-registering this year and finally selecting 100 of them, from more than 33 countries, to participate. Among those registered, there were more than 20 Spanish participants from many parts of Spain.
The jury was made up of great figures worldwide (Martha Argerich, Pablo Galdo and Sergio Tiempo). They awarded the following awards:

first prize "AIE" - PETROV, ALEXEI

SEcond prize "DOS ACORDES" - DOLYA, TIMOFEY / ROMANO, FABIO

Third PRize "JUAN MONTES" - PAPOIAN, MARTA / ZEEV, IDO

"ROSA SABATER" award - LÓPEZ SALAS, PEDRO

"CRISÓSTOMO ARRIAGA" award - PAPOIAN, MARTA

SPECIAL prize of the  PuBLIC "MARTÍN CÓDAX" - ZEEV, IDO
